It is 5 days to the day of love and chocolates and romance and xoxo, so I grabbed Aquilas and forced him to talk about love.

Just kidding, I didn’t force him.

So I asked him about love and the St. Valentine Day celebration and most importantly about his new single; My Baby which was inspired by true life events.

After all, you are not the only one who doesn’t normally celebrate the Val’s day. He also doesn’t celebrate it.

Marietta: Tell us about Valentine's Day. How do you feel about it?

Aquilas: I feel Valentine’s Day is the best time to show love since it’s accepted worldwide that it’s the time to show love

Marietta: What does love mean to you?

Aquilas: Love means taking responsibilities for your partner to make her happy

Marietta: Tell us what your ideal Valentine's Day celebration looks like.

Aquilas: Mostly I don’t celebrate Valentine's Day so I will be home writing music as usual

Marietta: What Valentine's Day activities can you recommend for people who are single?

Aquilas: Maybe seeing a comedy show

Aquilas: My baby was one of the songs I feel I took time to write and it is my best so far and the response is great.

Opening The Jar of Christmas Spirit

Christmas! My favourite holiday of all time. Christmas is but four months away! And for most of us celebrators, that means in the rush to do Christmas shopping and parties and gifts for family, friends and loved ones! For me, before I can do ALL or some of those things, I need to pass through end of semester examination. No worries. For the sake of Christmas, I'll do it in peace! Let me start my Christmas playlist now.

Anyway, since y'all be thinking of celebrating BIG, remember the little child who does not see the essence of celebrating because he receives nothing. In memory of the little sweet baby born in a manger, sleeping on a hay, why don't you, you know, open your purse, susubox, whatever you put money in, and open your heart to buy something even if it is small. It can be a new dress, toy, book, game, even sweets for a child somewhere.

Note, while doing that, tell him /her the story of Christmas, of the Christ child and the reason for the season, even if they have heard it a thousand times. Seeing a smile light up on a little face would make your Christmas brighter.

Open the Jar of Christmas Spirit to spread love and the message of giving.

Easter is just around the corner and this year, I'm super excited for it. I don't know why but I've come to love what our Saviour did for us more. It's amazing, wonderful, bittersweet........Actually, I can't find the right word for what He did.

Easter is going to be fantastic. Good Friday would be the time I'll get to reflect on what the Saviour did for me, Saturday, I have a wedding to attend, and Sunday, we would rejoice and go to church to remember His atonement and resurrection. Monday is time to be with loved ones and have fun.

I know Jesus is the Christ. He loves each of us, cares for us. The pain He went through, I cannot imagine. I believe He died for us, to serve all mankind and what He went through cannot be compared to anything. He died, the Great Redeemer died. But He lives and #BecauseHeLives, we are blessed. #BecauseHeLives, He is our Saviour and Redeemer. He lives today as our Lord, our Redeemer, Friend, our everything. We look to Him as  the only source of our salvation.

I remember
The first time you held
My hand
After a date, under a tree
I was shy
I was quiet
I was timid
I was safe
You led the way
With my blind eyes
In the dark

I remember
When you held my hand
I did not want
To let go
It was soft

It was loving
It was pretty
You made me feel
Loved with a heart
Which died before

Never for it to end

#ValsDayWithNoel ( A Glass Jar Made Of.........)

Vallo lovers!
How many days more? *Gasps* Four days? We have no time to waste.

Let's get straight into our gift guide. This year, make a glass jar of qualities for him. Yes, you heard me. A glass jar of qualities or memories or both.

All you need is

• A glass jar or mason jar
• Sticky notes or pieces of little cute papers
• Pen
• Glue or a sticky tape
• Memories or qualities

Method

• Take samples of sticky notes and write a quality you like about him or a memory you'd like him to remember on each paper.

• Fold them in a creative way and drop them into the glass jar.
• Put a sticky paper on the jar and write A Glass Jar Made of [insert name]. You could decorate it with hearts or something.

Optional: You could use a red bow on the jar
Then you are done.

Today, we're officially starting our #ValsDayWithNoel. This year, I'm not really ranting about St. Valentine's day because I've got to calm down! *breathe in*breathe out *

Let's get started.

Hair
I love to go with cool but not sophisticated style. Below are some of my ideas and favourites.

Makeup
For makeup, I think you shouldn't go over the bar. Use the basic long lipstick, pencil, blush and WATERPROOF mascara. I say WATERPROOF, because some of us are emotional and maybe, he would do something so romantic to the extent that it makes you cry tears of love and joy, and you don't want to have your mascara running down instead of the colourless water; tears.

For the lipstick, you go with colours like brown, neutral or pink.

I suggest you trim your eyebrows so that the pencil can work it sexy.

Outfit
Below, outfit idea for the night from last year. This was worn last year. It was simple yet RED. This could be worn especially when you are spending your day with charity or something, maybe in a children's hospital.

Ten things I believe in

Ahh, finally, there’s internet connection. So sorry for writing late. It wasn’t my fault, was it?

Anyway, all that matters is that I can blog now, and I want to write about things I believe in.

In life, there are certain things we individually believe in. Like me, I believe in some philosophies, facts and still believe in some myths. I would like to share some of the things I believe in. I’ll share ten.

1.    I BELIEVE IN GOD

GOD is my Heavenly Father who loves me and I love Him. I’m His daughter and he forgives me of my needs and provides anything I ask Him if it’s the best for me.

2.   I BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST

I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe He’s my big brother. I believe He’s the son of God. I believe He came to die for us and atone for our sins.

3.   I BELIEVE IN LOVE

Love is a sweet feeling. I believe in love, all types for love is planted in each and everyone’s heart, no matter how wicked you are.it just needs to find the right irrigation to make it grow and flourish. I believe it is love that still maintains the shape of the earth. (In a way).

4.   I BELIEVE IN MUSIC

Music is a world on its own. Music helps us to live. I believe the lyrics to a song is well understood if you have passed through the situation before and you have no words or way to express your feelings For instance hymns, love songs and break up songs. I believe music calms the nerves or even make our nerves excited. lol

5.    I BELIEVE IN CHRISTMAS

Christmas! Yes! My favourite moment and I deeply believe and have fallen in love with Christmas. I believe it is right to celebrate the Christ’s birth. I believe in the carols, I believe in the Christmas trees, I believe in the lightening and decorations, I believe in gift giving and I believe that Jesus Christ was born so we should celebrate

6.   I BELIEVE IN GIRL POWER

Girl power is the idea that women should take control of their careers and lives (Oxford Advance Learner’s Dictionary, New 8^th Edition). I believe all women have the girl power and I believe no man should dictate for them, though I believe we need men to support us.*wink*. I believe females can use their girl power to change the world.

7.   I BELIEVE IN KISSING AND HUGS

I believe kisses and hugs create connections between people. I believe a sweet kiss with spices helps love to germinate even if it is just a friendly or motherly peck. I believe they help people especially, a mother and a child, or two lovers to understand and interpret each other’s feelings without words.

8.   I BELIEVE IN STYLE

I do not believe in trends, but in style. I think style defines who you are and what you like as a person. I believe everyone should do whatever style he or she likes.

9.   I BELIEVE IN FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Family and friends are important in our lives whether they are humans and animals. At least, there should be companionship. I believe family and friends help us laugh, cry and make memories. They help us solve life problems and the good ones motivate us.

10. I BELIEVE IN YOU

I believe in you. I believe you can be someone I personally know. I believe we can meet some time in life. I believe you can be the next richest person in the world. I believe YOU can change the world.
