#BecauseHeLives
Easter is just around the corner and this year, I'm super excited for it. I don't know why but I've come to love what our Saviour did for us more. It's amazing, wonderful, bittersweet........Actually, I can't find the right word for what He did.
Easter is going to be fantastic. Good Friday would be the time I'll get to reflect on what the Saviour did for me, Saturday, I have a wedding to attend, and Sunday, we would rejoice and go to church to remember His atonement and resurrection. Monday is time to be with loved ones and have fun.
I know Jesus is the Christ. He loves each of us, cares for us. The pain He went through, I cannot imagine. I believe He died for us, to serve all mankind and what He went through cannot be compared to anything. He died, the Great Redeemer died. But He lives and #BecauseHeLives, we are blessed. #BecauseHeLives, He is our Saviour and Redeemer. He lives today as our Lord, our Redeemer, Friend, our everything. We look to Him as the only source of our salvation.
Have a Happy Easter Weekend!!!
Stay Sweet

Lessons I learnt In 2014
Everybody learns something every time and though this year have been very
tough, I learnt some lessons. I remember, I wrote in my creative
journal of ideas and I quote
"It's a new year and everyone says he feels that this year is going to be great, despite the hard economy. Well, I won't say I don't agree."
Yikes, was it true? Was the year great? Nah, very tough for me. This is what I learnt this year, 2014.

Yikes, was it true? Was the year great? Nah, very tough for me. This is what I learnt this year, 2014.
- I learnt how to let go. After an annoying, shocking and painful bad phase, I felt depressed for the rest of the year. After writing this poem, crying and throwing past lives into the sea, I decided to let go and leave everything to God. I know my Heavenly Father will comfort me and give me a better life ahead.
- Don't have so many plans/goals at once. Take them a little at a time or a batch at a time. Making a whole lots of goals in a very short time is unrealistic.
- Pride is a killer. It gives you hypertension. I met some people who were so proud of their intelligence, riches and status in life and make you feel so inferior. Do not listen to them. Do not mind them. I believe in humility and humility is a ring I want to learn to wear.

My Blogging Tips
Someone in my class once asked me, "How do you blog?" He asked me that question when he found out that I was a blogger. Well, how do I answer this question to him? I've never thought of this.
That night, I took my creative journal and open to the part where I write ideas: "IDEA BANK". I thought for a while and wrote on top; Marietta (MarieNoel)'s Blogging Tips and I would like to share.
1. Blog about what you love
That night, I took my creative journal and open to the part where I write ideas: "IDEA BANK". I thought for a while and wrote on top; Marietta (MarieNoel)'s Blogging Tips and I would like to share.
1. Blog about what you love
It can be fashion, hair, beauty, fitness, technology, poetry, politics, wanderlust, college life, DIY, you name it.
2. Be yourself
Write like how you normally communicate with people. Just that, you are talking to people virtually.
3. Get involved in social media
In my blogging life, I love twitter, bloglovin' and pinterest. Through social media involvement, people would get to know your blog and you would get to meet amazing people.
4. Visit other blogs (and comment)
Need some inspiration? Get to know similar blogs of your genre. Also, don't forget to leave a comment on a post you liked.
5. Join blogging groups
Joining groups would help you to learn more about blogging and skills from the experts and even amateurs like me. *wink* Hahaha. They would also get to know your blog and spread the word.
What other blogging tips do you want to share?

What Blogging Has Taught Me
As a blogger, you are not only exposing yourself to the world, but
you are also learning. Learning basic computer and internet skills, language (especially spelling) and life lessons!
Since I started blogging ( Countdown 6 days more to her 1st Anniversary), I personally have learnt a lot, especially in the aspect of fashion, beauty and social media influence. I also learnt about friendship, in the sense that I've made friends I haven't met yet in person and I hope to meet them to chat, laugh and eat some chocolate.
This is what blogging has taught me:
- Uniqueness. Blogging has taught me how to be unique in terms of blogging, you don't have to be doing what every one is doing. It's like following trends, you don't have to follow trends to be called a fashionable person.
- Be proud of your work. Don't let people tell you what you are doing is useless. Nothing you do is useless, which brings us to the next point.
- There are people out there who need your blog to be present. Yeah, like my story of learning about fashion, if there were no fashion bloggers, I wouldn't have learnt anything about fashion. Maybe your blog is about fitness or gardening. Through that, you have given us inspiration to someone for fitness or gardening.
This is what blogging has taught me. What has blogging taught you? Please share your lessons. Thumbs up!
Countdown: 6 days more to Marietta DeGrant As MarieNoel's first anniversary.

Freshman Lessons
Hi everyone. Wow, you’re around? Yep, it’s not
my fault though. Remember Bad Blogger Problems. My laptop is seriously ill.
Ah, it's been a crrraaaaaazzzzzyyyy year,
from the time i got my admission letter till I wrote my last freshman paper,
it's been .........., hmmm, insanely fun and scary. I made friends, learnt amazing
things about life and me, started this blog, celebrated events and festivals
and sometimes met annoying people.
So yes, freshman
year was crazy and over and amazingly, I never got the Freshman Fifteen. Maybe,
Sophomore Sixteen is on its way. (Is there anything like that???).
And these are the lessons i learnt in freshman year
- Go to every class you're supposed to attend. Never skip a class, UNLESS you're EXTREMELY ILL
- Make good friends. Making friends means, both in school and outside the school (the neighbours of your university town). Make friends with your seniors and students of other courses.
- Try and eat healthy. In all, strive to be healthy. Have enough sleep, exercise, go outdoors.
- Keep track of your money.
- In freshman year, I learnt more about myself that I was good in note taking and planning. I hope to learn more about myself in the coming years.
What did you learn in your freshman year?
