Serial Review: Pep Talk

It's amazing how you get to meet people with incredible talents.

Meet Awo Dede, a lady whom I was in the same secondary school with, and in the same boarding house. I knew she was doing General Arts, but never knew she had a creative imagination. Anyway, I don't blame her. It's not her fault. She's just like me, we write, then hide it, lol. Awo Dede, I totally understand.

Awo Dede has started writing a blog. Yay! Yoo-hoo! This blog has a serial in it. The title is Pep Talk. The write up is beautiful, amazing, weird and fantastic. I love it. Read episode 1 here and episode 2 here.

The story is about a girl who has reincarnated. I love the imagination of the spirit world. I have never imagined the spirit paradise that way. She used a bit of local dialect too and underneath the story, she wrote the translation of the sentence for those of us who don't understand. Really, Awo Dede is Talent. (I do not mean, talented. She is talent itself)

One thing I didn't like about everything is, there are no images. Apart from that, everything is amusing and arrrhh-mazing. I even bet she can write vampire stories. Tell me, Awo-dede, if you are reading this. Do you like vampire /werewolves stories?

Easter is just around the corner and this year, I'm super excited for it. I don't know why but I've come to love what our Saviour did for us more. It's amazing, wonderful, bittersweet........Actually, I can't find the right word for what He did.

Easter is going to be fantastic. Good Friday would be the time I'll get to reflect on what the Saviour did for me, Saturday, I have a wedding to attend, and Sunday, we would rejoice and go to church to remember His atonement and resurrection. Monday is time to be with loved ones and have fun.

I know Jesus is the Christ. He loves each of us, cares for us. The pain He went through, I cannot imagine. I believe He died for us, to serve all mankind and what He went through cannot be compared to anything. He died, the Great Redeemer died. But He lives and #BecauseHeLives, we are blessed. #BecauseHeLives, He is our Saviour and Redeemer. He lives today as our Lord, our Redeemer, Friend, our everything. We look to Him as  the only source of our salvation.

BLOG PEP TALK FOR INCOMING FRESHERS

You’ve gotten a text or e-mail telling you to come for your letter at a regional post office. Your prayers have been answered and now you can walk like you are now part of a dog-eat-dog world. Congratulations to all who got admission. No matter which institution you got (university, college, polytechnic, training colleges etc), you must aim at making a difference there.

So I gathered my friends to write this post for you, to give you advice. Please take them to heart and visit their blogs also for more inspiration

Charlotte of Ryters Diary says "I would say Uni is a great environment to develop oneself in all aspects of life. Be open minded, laugh a lot, explore and make the grades"

Mj Jimmy who doesn't have a blog yet but is a great poet says "University exposes you to avenue of great thoughts. Make good use of your brain and explore where creativity sets in."

Kimberly of .Kimberly's chronicle says "My advice would be to go in with an open mind, and don't forget to have a little fun. There's so much to be discovered and learned, but in order for that to happen, people need to be open to it. It's always good to have a plan, but it's also good to accept that the plan may change."

Emma of ItsEmmaElisesays "My advice is to learn how to be adaptive. It's harder than it seems. But your study methods, time management skills, etc from previous, lower levels of education will not get you through the hard stuff!
