Getting Ready: What To Wear On Your Matriculation

Hello world!

To those of you who are about to be matriculated, Ayeeko! It is a wonderful moment, that you've entered school to enroll as a candidate for a degree or diploma. As life grows, things become sweeter (Quote me). So don't worry, your graduation would be sweeter than your matriculation. Your wedding would be sweeter than your first job, then it goes on and on and on.....

Anyway, back to the blog: Matriculation tips.

Let's get started.

Ghanaian tertiary institutions usually set aside two days for the matriculation; one for the main event, which usually takes place on Saturdays, depending on the school, then the other day for thanksgiving (Sundays). We are only focusing on the outfits for the main event.

During matriculation, I suggest you wear some classy, not flashy outfit because you might want to take a whole lot of pictures with your new mates and friends.

Below are three outfit ideas for your matriculation.

For the "I love Africa" ladies.

For the "I love Africa" guys.

For the people who want to feel like a celebrity

For those who want to look"I will work at the office after school".

All the best in your tertiary life.

Are you a fresher? Sweetheart, tweet me a picture of your outfit /matriculation @MarieNoelGrant. I will reply and retweet and wish you all the best.

Stay Sweet!!!

My Beauty Must Haves

Hi there beautiful people. How is your day? Mine is not bad at all. We are in the Back to School mood, paying fees, moving in, contacting roommates, shopping and everything.

As a lady like me, when we are making a list of things to purchase, we add our feminine products, even if it's just one. I am not a pro in the beauty section of a lady's life, but I know that some time in life, I need to show my feminine side. I need a lip balm and mascara for class and a lipstick and fragrance for a night out, to be the queen of the night, right? Right!

"Cause I'm the Queen of the night. Queen of the night! Oh yeah, oh yeah, oh yeeaahh!"

God rest their souls; Whitney Houston and her daughter. My dad played that song for me on my 5th birthday. I bet he never knew the lyrics. Sadly.

Oh the glory days.

My beauty must haves.

Any beauty must haves suggestions for me, the girl who is not a pro like you?

Cool Nail Design Ideas

Hey there! I hope you are all fantastic this morning. The weather is really changeable. One minute it is sunny, the next minute, you are searching for a cardigan.

This is another back to school post and we are looking at ways we can rock our nails. We buy beautiful school supplies but our nails have no flawless flair. I am not a big fan of decorating my nails. I just pick up my nail polish, nail file and just paint my nails. But, I have made a....a.....what? Resolution? Decision? Challenge? to get a nail art design one of these days.

Since I am crazy about Pinterest, I have created a board; Nail It on my Pinterest page. And from the Pinterest inspiration, below are cool nail designs you can rock this year, for back to school.

How are you wearing your nails this year?

Are you going plain like me (Oh please, Marietta, be a girly girl for once!) or you just got an inspiration from this post?
